Emesent partners with Mining Innovation Network to deliver US breakfast Series

Following the success of the Robotics & Automation in Mining series in Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney, Emesent is partnering again with the Mining Innovation Network to deliver a breakfast series on the West Coast of the United States.

Each breakfast seminar will feature expert speakers in mining innovation followed by a demonstration of Emesent’s versatile and autonomous, SLAM-based mapper, Hovermap and how it can be mounted to a variety of drone and robot platforms including Boston Dynamics’ SPOT.

The Robotics and Automation in Mining breakfast series is where the mining industry gathers to present and discuss the exciting new opportunities in automation, robotics and drones. The event will enable stakeholders to undertake a significant digital review of their business and identify areas in which automation and robotics will add the most value.

Business at usual is no longer acceptable in the mining industry, and to stay afloat traditional businesses need radical changes. The value derived from the application of digital technologies and digitisation is so profound, and early adopters are already seeing the benefits of using automation.

Past attendees have called the event “A great initiative. It brings along value in every sense – networking, marketing your product/idea, awareness about current practices and future”

The breakfast series will take place on the following dates and locations:

  • Denver: October 12
  • Phoenix: October 21
  • Salt Lake City: November 3
  • Elko: November 4
  • Reno: November 5
